Nanosys is looking for an experienced controls and instrumentation engineer who will design and build Supervisory, Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) as well as Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems that will drive and monitor custom built Quantum Dot manufacturing equipment. Additionally, this position will be responsible for maintenance, repair, system upgrades or replacement of the facility Building Management System (BMS) which provide environmental controls and other critical services needed for the manufacturing and R&D operations.

Nanosys is looking for an experienced system administrator to join our Nanosys IT team.  Primarily responsibility includes supporting the company’s data backup and disaster recovery as well as co-administration and sharing of all IT functions to add redundancy and robustness to the IT organization.  

Nanosys is looking for a QC Technician who is responsible for carrying out quality control tests on Nanosys Quantum Dot products. This includes proper operation, maintenance and calibration of lab QC instrumentation, maintenance of QC records, performing gauge R & R, and participating in technical dialogue regarding measurement results.  This position may also be required to assist with other testing requirements for Quantum Dots on various analytical platforms with the goal of characterizing our materials at various stages of synthesis.  

Nanosys is looking for an experienced analytical chemist who is responsible for carrying out analytical measurements on Nanosys Quantum Dot products and raw materials used in the manufacture of these products. This person will work closely with chemists at Nanosys to develop new analytical methods on new materials as well as establish a state of the art analytical capability with existing test methods and instrumentation. In addition to developing and carrying out test methods this person will be responsible for analyzing test data and presenting findings internally to cross-functional teams. It is also possible that this position may have some supervisory responsibility over test technicians. The position is within Nanosys Quality department.
