Nanosys and DuPont Central Research & Development to Collaborate in the Development of Nanotechnology-Enabled High-Performance Thin Films

Palo Alto, CA - (February 18, 2004). Nanosys, Inc. and the DuPont Central Research & Development (CR&D) organization have agreed to jointly research the use of Nanosys’ nanotechnology-enabled high-performance thin-film technology for applications in electronics. Under the research agreement, DuPont CR&D will help support activities with Nanosys to explore the incorporation of Nanosys technology into specific products.

Nanosys’ technology uses a proprietary nanostructured thin-film approach to allow the formation of high-performance electronics without the need for many of the complex and costly processing steps common to traditional thin-film transistor manufacturing.
