Nanosys Wins 2004 World Technology Network Award

Palo Alto , CA - (October 12, 2004) . Nanosys Inc., a leader in nanotechnology-enabled systems, has won the 2004 World Technology Award in the materials category from the World Technology Network (WTN). The Award was announced at the close of the 2004 World Technology Summit.

Each year, WTN honors individuals and corporations from 20 different technology related disciplines deemed by the WTN to have the greatest likely future significance and impact on their industry and society. The awards also determine the newest WTN members.

“Nanosys is honored to be chosen for this prestigious award bestowed upon us by our peers and colleagues,” said Larry Bock , Executive Chairman. “This award is a testament to our technology and the achievements of our team as we develop uniquely enabled nanotechnology based products across multiple industries.”

The 2004 World Technology Summit & Awards took place in San Francisco on October 7th and 8th, in association with Nasdaq, Microsoft, Philips, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, TIME magazine, Fortune magazine, Science magazine/AAAS, Technology Review magazine, and Business 2.0 magazine.
