The Herakleidon Museum is proud to present the solo show ‘The blue hour’ of the painter Olga Alexopoulou curated by Iris Kritikou. The exhibition reveals the artist’s evolution through the colour blue, an evolution that includes the intersection between art and advanced technology including Quantum Dots.
This exhibit will feature a display of blue Quantum Dots courtesy of leading Quantum Dot manufacturer Nanosys.
The Herakleidon Museum is proud to present the Symposium on the History, Technology and Research of the Colour Blue which will take place on Saturday the 9th of November 2019 with some of the top academics and researchers on the colour blue from around the world. Starting from Ancient Greece and reaching all the way to the most cutting-edge technology being developed at Silicon Valley USA right now.
The final presentation ‘Painting with Light’ takes us to the latest developments of advanced technology and how a group of scientists have found a way to reproduce the exact full spectrum of light that humans can see, on screens made with nanotechnology (presented by Jason Hartlove, President & CEO of Nanosys).
Nanosys Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Russell Kempt, will be presenting at IDTechEx’s 2019 Printed Electronics USA event in Silicon Valley this November. Mr. Kempt’s talk, titled “Are Quantum Dots The Ultimate Flexible Printed Display Technology?” will cover recent advances in Quantum Dot technology for printed, flexible displays.
Dr. Nahyoung Kim, Nanosys Senior Scientist, will give two invited talks at the 19th International Meeting on Information Display (IMID 2019) which will be held at HICO, Gyeongju, Korea from August 27-30, 2019.
Nanosys CEO Jason Hartlove will speak at the upcoming 8K DisplaySummit being held at the Millennium Times Square on June 11, 2019.
The 8K era has started with 8K broadcasting already underway in Japan. It is still early days for 8K and not all are convinced of the benefits of 8K or that it is inevitable. Nanosys Director of Applications Engineering, Dr. ZhongSheng Luo, will present an update on Nanosys Quantum Dot technology at the 4th China International Quantum Dots Summit in Shanghai. His talk, titled, “Bringing UHD to Life with Quantum Dot,” will be held on April 16th during the plenary session.
Nanosys Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, Russell Kempt, will give a talk titled “Are Quantum Dots the Ultimate Flexible Printed Display Technology” at IDTechEx’s Printed Electronics Europe in Berlin this April.
Jason Hartlove, Chief Executive Officer at Nanosys, Inc., will present the keynote speech at the Smither’s Apex 2019 Quantum Dots Forum to take place on March 20-21 in La Jolla, CA.
